This motel is close to the parks and was clean. Things we didn't expect: it's a motor in so you exit your room to the out side, the breakfast is very weak! There are two waffle irons, cereal, and not much else. We booked this place so we can grab breakfast in the morning and go, well that didn't happen! Last year we stayed at the Marriott which is just as close for a similar price and there was a full spread of food. This motel is a shadow of what the other ones are.
Good location for a good price. Easy to walk to either park. The rooms could use some renovating, but they were alright. The only thing that I didn't like was that, like many places, the motel is using the guise of COVID to skimp on normal amenities. We stayed there for 6 days and not once did we get housekeeping. When we eventually needed towels, you had to go get them from the front desk (who weren't wearing masks- so no clue why housekeeping couldn't happen). Our "breakfast" was an 8oz SunnyD, a granola bar, 5 hostess mini muffins, and a bag of Cheeze-its 🤷🏿♂️. When you had to go pick up your breakfast, none of the staff were wearing masks, so obviously the reasoning for these inconveniences weren't COVID. I am not a COVID freak on either side of the spectrum, but when something doesn't add up, it doesn't add up.
A nice surprise due to location... 15 minutes to downtown and the parks. The room are ok; a bit dated, but clean. Free parking but the exterior of hotel was in need of cleaning.
